Received: Deschutes Hopzeit Autumn IPA (2017)

This arrived from Deschutes Brewery just before the weekend: Their Hopzeit Autumn IPA, which first released last year and which I reviewed (and enjoyed). And if you’re wondering about the release of an “autumn” beer in August, well… it’s much better than releasing Jubelale in August or September!

Received: Cans of McMenamins Sunflower IPA

McMenamins just introduced its Sunflower IPA into cans for the first time, one of the few beers that has made it into (occasional) packaged rotation in the form of bottles in the past. Like the first round of cans, these are pounders, 16 ounces each, and earlier this week I … Continue reading

Four bottles of 2 Towns Ciderhouse‘s latest two seasonals arrived yesterday: Prickle Me Pink^2, a prickly pear and watermelon cider, and the return of their Hop & Stalk (hopped) cider. I’ve had Hop & Stalk before—it’s good—but I am definitely intrigued by this prickly pear/watermelon combo.

Brewmaster Dustin Kellner took … Continue reading
