Received: 2 Towns Ciderhouse La Mûre

Two bottles of La Mûre from 2 Towns Ciderhouse arrived this week, their lambic-style cider originally released last year as part of their limited Cellar Series. Vintaged to 2015, 2 Towns says, “Northwest apples and Oregon-grown Marion blackberries are fermented, then soured with Lactobacillus. Aged in Willamette Valley Pinot Noir barrels for one year, this unique cider is then removed from these barrels and bottle conditioned, revealing complex aromatics and a lactic tang that only time can unfold.”

2 Towns sent me a bottle of this last year, which I reviewed here. I’ll post notes about this one as well, as I expect it has changed and matured in that year’s time.
