This is a first in receiving beer samples: having a couple of crowlers (32-ounce cans) shipped to me, which were filled on Monday and arrived yesterday. The beer? New Holland Lightpoint Functional White Ale, the new low-carb, low-cal lifestyle beer from the Michigan brewery. I’m guessing the “White Ale” portion means it’s based on a Belgian-style witbier, and the mention orange peel in the press release would seem to indicate that.
