Received: Hopworks Pig War Hazy IPA, Beestly Organic Honey Porter

The latest cans from Portland’s Hopworks  Urban Brewery arrived at the doorstep: Pig War Hazy IPA and Beestly Organic Honey Porter. Pig War is the returning seasonal for April, while Beestly is a new year-round offering starting this month. From the 2021 release calendar, this is what HUB said about it:

The porter is brewed with organic honey from GloryBee in Eugene, Ore., and displays its Save The Bee program label, promoting funding for scientific research to enhance colony health and increase awareness of the role honey bees play in a healthy food supply.

Additionally, Hopworks issued a press release today announcing that Beestly won a gold medal in the “Robust Porter, $10 – Less” category at the 10th Annual New York International Beer Competition.

Honestly I’m more interested in the porter but will drink and make notes on both.
