Massachusetts-based Harpoon Brewery released a new seasonal mix pack into the “lifestyle/better for you” category containing four variants of its Rec. League low-cal beer. When I knew I was received samples, I expected a single can each of the four beers, though in fact an entire half-rack (12 pack) of them arrived last week.

The four beers are Rec. League, a pale ale; Farm League, a hoppy farmhouse ale with orange peel; Bush League, an American lager; and Night League, a black IPA.

The PR notes that, “All four beers in the pack clock in at 4.0% ABV and are brewed with an activity-minded blend of buckwheat kasha, chia, and sea salt.” So in addition to low calorie, there are other health-minded components.
