This beer and swag package arrived yesterday, courtesy of Elysian Brewing in Seattle. The featured beer is Salute the Sun, a pale ale conditioned on sun-dried black limes, but also included are Rolling Stone Lager (along with “backstage pass,” guitar pick, and more), Contact Haze Hazy IPA, and the company’s flagship Space Dust IPA. Among other swag items are stickers, Contact Haze sunglasses, and a Contact Haze can koozie.

Not shown was the box, which was fitted with one of those electronic sound widgets you find in musical greeting cards; when opened, it played what sounded like 1950’s sci-fi horror movie music.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had any Elysian brews (probably the last time the traveling Pumpkin Fest came to town…?) so I’ll report as I drink!
