Today I received the latest release in the tinyHaus limited beer series from 10 Barrel Brewing, Marionberry Cheesecake Sour. It’s release #011 in the series, and the first of 2023; it’s an “imperial” Berliner Weisse with 6.1% alcohol by volume.

The description on the brewery’s website (“upcoming release” on the tinyHaus page) says:

What do you get when you take an Imperial Berliner Weisse, add marionberry, graham cracker, and vanilla, and give it the rich decadence of cheesecake? Imagine a slice of marionberry cheesecake freshly served the way that grandma used to make it. But better… because Marionberry Cheesecake Sour is beer.

Brewmaster Tonya Cornett tells me there is also lactose and cream cheese powder in the beer, so if you’re lactose intolerant you might want to avoid it. But based on the last dessert (or candy) inspired tinyHaus beer I reviewed, I expect this one will taste pretty much on point for a marionberry cheesecake.
