NW Cider Symposium public cider tasting, March 13 in Tacoma
The Northwest Cider Symposium is taking place in Tacoma, Washington this month, on March 13 and 14, the annual convention and trade show supporting Pacific Northwest cider hosted by the Northwest Cider Association. If you’re interested in the ins and outs of cider and/or the cider industry, it could be an interesting event to attend; however, I wanted to point you to a public cider tasting event the Symposium is hosting on Monday, March 13.
The tasting event takes place from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. and features eight ciders along with hors d’oeuvres for $30 (tickets available online here). Here are more details that were forwarded to me:

As part of the annual NW Cider Symposium, the Northwest Cider Association will offer the public a unique opportunity to taste ciders from their membership. With members spanning OR, WA, ID, MT and British Columbia, there are opportunities to try ciders that are hard-to-find. Tickets include 8 pours, hors d’oeuvres, and a chance to meet the makers (more pours available for purchase).
