My latest article for the Bend Bulletin ran on Sunday (yesterday), wherein I wrote about one of my favorite styles: Barley wine is right for winter time. At the time I was writing it and turning it in, we hadn’t yet gotten the snow so I didn’t know just how seasonally appropriate it would be.

For me, barleywine is a great beer to be sipped when there’s snow on the ground and you don’t have anywhere to go. So yeah, the timing was right on this one.
