Did you know that Deschutes Brewery bottled a Baltic Porter? Neither did I, but I just received a bottle of it in the brewery’s “Just Tapped” series along with two bottles of this year’s Jubelale.

This year’s Jubelale label does not feature a local artist, but is an amalgam of splatter art on a wall erected for Deschutes’ 30th anniversary. It’s a fun concept and an interesting change; I got a picture of the wall itself at the brewery’s Jubelale release earlier this week:

As for the Baltic Porter, it’s pretty straightforward but it’s the first time Deschutes has bottled one so I’m definitely interested in trying it. It’s 8% ABV and 25 IBUs.
