Oregon BeerHere’s the Oregon beer news for Tuesday, the 25th of April. As usual, I’ll be periodically updating this post throughout the day, so check back often for the latest news. If you have news to share, please contact me and I can get that updated as well.

Great Notion Brewing (Portland) has an Abnormal Beer tap takeover today from 5 to 10pm: “We collaborated on an awesome beer with our good friends @ Abnormal Beer Co and Mostra Coffee in sunny San Diego called Mostranana! Abnormal sent up a keg of that awesome imperial milk wheat ale with lactose, coffee, ceylon cinnamon and dried banana powder as well as some other kegs including New Money IPA, Year Two DIPA, and Maple Mornings!”

Belmont Station (Portland) is welcoming Boardman’s Ordnance Brewing in today for a tasting from 5 to 8pm: “Come get samples of the following Ordnance beers: Bloops Blueberry Wheat Ale, Blackfisk Imperial Stout, Double Recoil IIPA, EOD West Coast IPA, FMJ English Style IPA, Kolsch, RX Pale Ale, and Old Craig Strong Ale”

Cascade Brewing (Portland): Today’s Tap It Tuesday at the Barrel House at 6pm is featuring Mimosour: “our take on the Mimosa cocktail. Mimosour features sour blond and wheat ales aged with chardonnay juice for six months then infused with a late addition of fresh orange zest. Like a classic Mimosa, Mimosour offers flavors of champagne and orange juice with a fresh acidity and light Co2 sparkle!”

Deschutes Brewery (Bend): Tuesdays are Community Pints days at the Bend and Portland Deschutes pubs, where $1 of every pint sold goes to benefit a given non-profit organization selected for the month. In Bend starting at 4:30pm today, they are benefiting the Central Oregon Shriners Club. In Portland today, they are benefiting Store to Door, which “supports independent living for Portland area seniors and people with disabilities by providing an affordable, personal, volunteer-based grocery shopping and delivery service.” Make sure to stop by and enjoy a pint or three to help out!

Fort George Brewery (Astoria): Today starting at 4:30pm they are having a benefit night for the Astoria Arts and Movement Center: “Dance, pizza and beer all in one room? You bet! For its April Benefit Night event, our fine friends at the Fort George Brewery will hold a fundraiser for the Astoria Arts and Movement Center. Head to the upstairs pub from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 25th for an evening of performances, music and class demos. A raffle is also on the agenda- win classes, gift certificates, a Belly Dance package, a night at the Cannery Pier Hotel, massages and more. Proceeds from all food and drink sales will directly support the AAMC, so let’s raise a pint and raise some funds for our beloved studio!!” Be there!
