Received: Pyramid Brewing Coast Day
Completely out of the blue, this arrived today: Pyramid Brewing Coast Day Dry-Hopped Hazy Lager.
I say “out of the blue” because as it turns out, I got a press release about this beer a month ago (literally—I just searched my email, and found it dated June 26) but since I hadn’t seen anything more about it, I’d forgotten about it.
Here’s what the press release said about the beer:
True to its Pacific Northwest roots, Pyramid Brewing Co. sourced the finest regionally grown ingredients for brewing Coast Day Dry-Hop Hazy Lager. Brewed with a unique blend of Nugget, Liberty, and Mount Hood hops and dry-hopped with Experimental Hop 09326, plus Centennials for extra flavor, Coast Day is a full-flavor, full-bodied beer that features tastes and aromas of citrus and berry.
And yes, that’s a 19.2 ounce can. Yes those are becoming prevalent, but why 19.2 ounces? Apparently that’s a Royal Pint. (No, I did not know that answer until I just now googled it.)
