Received: Non-alcoholic beers from Surreal Brewing

The latest marketing samples of beer—or in this case, non-alcoholic beer—reached me yesterday, from Surreal Brewing Company. The brewery sent a six-pack representing five different NA beers: Juicy Mavs Hazy IPA (two cans), Chandelier Red IPA, Natural Bridges Kölsch, 17 Mile Porter, and Pastry Porter.

According to the marketing, these are the lowest-calories beers in the U.S., with the Kölsch starting at a crazy-low 17 calories. If you’re counting that sort of thing.

I now find myself in the somewhat-odd position of having eight different non-alcoholic beers on hand to sample (with the Grüvi beers I received a week ago). I imagine I’ll drink and review each company’s offerings in a single post each, just so I can compare and comment easier. Still, that’s a fair amount of (NA) beer to get through.
