Received: Modified Theory mixers in three flavors

Modified Theory is the new, non-Deschutes-branded venture from Deschutes Brewery, billed as a “crafted hard bevy” intended for use as a cocktail mixer or other lifestyle drinks, and all three flavors arrived this week in a specialty “mixology” package. Along with a can of each flavor, there’s also a mixing jar, stirrer, and shot glass, all branded, and an airline-sized bottle of Crater Lake Gin.

There are also “mixology made easy” quick recipe cards to accompany each, with the suggested hard alcohol pairing: Gin with the Northwest Berry Lavender, bourbon with the Tarocco Orange Vanilla, and tequila with the Tahitian Lime Agave.

I’ll admit to being a bit skeptical but definitely curious about these. I imagine when I drink and review them, I’ll try the base “bevy” and then mix it up per the recipes to get the full experience.
