The newest beer from Double Mountain Brewery arrived today: The Other Matt IPA, the latest in the Brewer Experimental IPA series. This one is from lead brewer Matt Coughlin (as opposed to owner Matt Swihart) and is brewed with Azacca hops and kveik yeast.

I really enjoyed the last beer in this series that I reviewed, so I expect I will like this one as well. I’m definitely curious about the kveik yeast; I believe the only other commercial beer(s) I’ve tasted using it are from Boss Rambler Beer Club (though I’ve had several homebrews that used the Norwegian strain).
