Last week before the holiday weekend, a bottle of Dry Cider from Hood River’s Double Mountain Brewery arrived, showcasing the brewery’s 12-ounce refillable bottle. Double Mountain has been a proponent of and using refillable bottles since 2012, but until now those have been 500ml bottles.

Double Mountain Brewery & Taproom is releasing the newest addition to our 12oz refillable glass bottles. The success of the Hop Lion and Pale Ale 12oz refillable bottles presented the perfect opportunity to introduce our new addition to the bottle lineup, the Double Mountain Dry Cider. Our 12oz refillable bottles are now available with the delicious Hop Lion, Pale Ale, and Dry Cider currently available at our Hood River Taproom and SE Portland Taproom in the Woodstock neighborhood, and on shelves throughout the Northwest.

Dry Cider 6.7% ABV
Keeping it simple and local, we use a blend of freshly harvested local heirloom apples from Double Mountain Orchards and local Hood River Newtowns, Braeburns, Hanners for old world complexity. We gave this cider plenty of time to dry out and develop wondrous aromas of juicy pear, lychee, green fruit, and chamomile. It finishes tart, crisp, dry, and quenching.
