Received: Crushable cans from 10 Barrel Brewing
Arrived yesterday afternoon: a mixed 12-pack of 10 Barrel Brewing Crush series beers, and a six-pack of the new Nature Calls Mountain IPA. My timing is off: theoretically I should have received these before September 27, which was National Crush a Can Day, but I’d been late in replying to the PR email so the beers arrived a day late. My fault, but I’ll crush a few cans anyway.
The Crush pack consists of the mainline flavors that 10 Barrel offers in the sour series: Cucumber, Apricot, Strawberry, and Raspberry. It’s been awhile since I’ve had these so it will be interesting to revisit.
The “Mountain IPA” is new and year-round, and the brewery says “It’s the merger of two prominent IPA styles: a West Coast IPA and an East Coast Hazy IPA” in a blurb of the style. A number of other breweries have laid claim to the apparent style designation, so I won’t try to tease out too much on that. More importantly, a portion of this beer’s sales proceeds benefit the Conservation Alliance.
I’ll report as I work through the beers.
