For my last couple of articles for The Bulletin I’ve talked about summer beers styles. A couple of weeks ago it was the classic American wheat ale, with highlights from Sunriver Brewing and GoodLife Brewing, and this past Sunday I wrote about the prevalence of summertime fruited sour ales that have been popping up locally—all in cans.

Deschutes Brewery, Worthy Brewing, 10 Barrel Brewing, and Silver Moon Brewing all released fruit sours within the last month or so: Marionberry & Lavender Sour Ale, Exuberance Summer Sour, Strawberry Crush, and Salty Bog Cranberry Gose, respectively. And then Immersion Brewing and Bend Brewing both have year-round canned sours, Sexy Girlfriend from Immersion and both Ching Ching and Razztafari from BBC, so I included those in my roundup as well.

If you’re a fruit sour fan, keep an eye out for these while they’re available.
