The 32nd annual Oregon Brewers Festival is in full swing this week, running Wednesday through Saturday, and if you’re planning to attend I thought it would be a good time to re-up my OBF Survival Guide post from a number of years back. Written in 2012(!) it’s a bit dated for some of the specifics (no Buzz or Sour tents, or apps), but the overall advice is still solid (and good for any beer festival, really).

This year for the first time ever, the OBF is featuring only Oregon breweries (you can find the beer list here). Which makes sense for a festival with “Oregon” in the name. There have been a number of other changes as well, and Pete Dunlop outlined those changes here—read about them if you haven’t already. Pete also wrote his first-hand assessment of the changes from his day one visit yesterday, good stuff to know.

Sadly I won’t be attending this year, but I hope everyone else has a fun and safe time!
