Bend’s newest brewery, Bevel Craft Brewing, quietly opened up last week ahead of this weekend’s official grand opening party! We stopped in to check it out last week while still in soft opening mode, and I had a taster tray of the six beers on tap. All are hoppy IPA variants, which is what brewer and owner Nate Doss plans to focus on. I’ve got more details coming out in an upcoming article, but suffice to say the beers were all pretty solid.

For the grand opening taking place this Saturday the 6th, here are the plans for the day:

Team Bevel has one heck of a party planned, but let’s start with the foundation of this whole project – BEER! Belly up to the bar and sample their six freshly brewed hop-forward ales, as well as some of our taproom only exclusives! Brewmaster, Nate Doss, will be leading three brewery tours in the early afternoon to show you around the brewery and explain the process of crafting some delicious ales. (Space is limited to just 10 people per group, so please come early to check in.)

And come hungry! The Patio will lined with great food from our new neighbor food carts including The Grill 1646, Bend Bowls, and Taqueria El Nava!

We’ll also be unveiling our newest mural installation on The Patio by local artist, Chloe Leis!

Now that all the basics are covered, on to the party! Ryan DjReddfox Floyd will be spinning tracks all day, mixed with two live performances leading us into the night. Bringing the heat in late afternoon, we’re excited to welcome Bend’s own, Sleepless Truckers. Then to cap off the evening, we’ll have a live acoustic reggae performance from some surprise world renown artists! Believe us, you won’t want to miss this party!

Doors open at 11am, and the party will go all day until closing. It’s going to be a good chance to get all the details on this new brewing operation, and especially if you love hops, be sure to check it out. (Of course, Bevel is open now as well, so you don’t have to wait for the party.)
