John Rubio and Grant Davis of The Beerists podcast saw some episodes of The Modern Rogue and were appalled at Brian and Jason’s complete lack of alcoholic expertise, so they tailed Brian to his house and made us film them.

It’s a beer primer as much as anything, but I always enjoy introducing new beer styles to people and this comes across well in this video. And I like that the Modern Rogue guys don’t take themselves too seriously—describing the aroma of a gueuze as if Willy Wonka’s factory was on fire was hilarious. Overall it turned out to be a pretty good beer primer, too. And stick around to the end for a legit “OMG” moment!
