My latest print article for The Bulletin hit today: Two birthday bashes at Bend Box Factory. Immersion is celebrating their first anniversary this weekend (as part of Beer Week), and next weekend (the start of June) Atlas Cider is celebrating their fourth.
Both Immersion and Atlas are located at the Box Factory in Bend, on the northern edge of the Old Mill District, and both have big plans. Immersion will have a parking lot party with a stage for live music, a barrel aged beer release, and bottled beers available for the first time. Atlas, for the second year in a row, plans to throw a carnival—yes, with Ferris wheel and everything.
