Portland’s Base Camp Brewing is in the midst of their Fifth Anniversary Week, wrapping up this weekend. “We’re celebrating our fifth birthday with a week of fun stuff. Join us for special Brewers’ Reserve releases, deals on pints, cases, six packs, and bottles, trivia, film screenings, all-day happy hour, raffles for specialty bottles, live music, aaaaand cupcakes!” Help them celebrate! They’ll finish on Saturday with $5 pints and a garage sale.
The Bier Stein in Eugene is hosting a beer tasting with Draper Brewing from 5 to 8pm Friday: “Tucked away from Roseburg on several acres of homestead land, Draper Brewing has been putting out solid beer since 2010. Lately, Draper has produced a line of delicious wild ales aged in wine barrels in the Renaissance Series. This is their first tasting here, and we are excited to present beer from both the clean and wild sides of Draper. Founder/brewer Sam Eslinger will be here, come taste what he’s got.”
Culmination Brewing (Portland) has the release of their Phaedrus IPA in cans, with cans freshly packaged the same day: “It’s that time! This is our first run of cans. Phaedrus, our flagship IPA is going into cans and we are super excited! They will be canned in the early morning on 11/3 and you will be able to pick them up fresh that day. We will be selling six packs ($10) and flats of 24 cans ($35) out of our taproom.”
Portland’s Lombard House is hosting Breakside Brewery for the debut of Back to the Future, …. “We are thrilled to host the return of Breakside’s Back to the Future! Breakside is one of our favorite breweries and debuting the return of Back to the Future is going to be amazing. We will be rolling out several other Breakside beers while playing the Back to the Future Trilogy on the TV. Hope to see y’all there!”
Monkless Belgian Ales (Bend) is holding the release of their first bottled beer, Friar’s Festivus (which also happens to be their first winter beer). “Winter is coming! And so too is our first bottle release–Friar’s Festivus! McMenamins Old Church & Pub in Wilsonville is holding their 5th Annual Boone’s Ferry Autumn Ale Fest all day Saturday, featuring 20 beers and ciders from a variety of other McMenamins and non-McM’s breweries. “We’re back for the fifth year with more than a dozen big, hearty beers that are perfect for the season and this year, we’re adding cider! Help choose the best beer or cider of the bunch, whose maker will be awarded the famed Boone’s Ferryman oar trophy. We’ll have beer and cider from McMenamins and local guests, and live music!” $20 gets you the tasting glass and 12 drink tokens.
Belmont Station is hosting a Movie Madness Fundraiser with Melvin Brewing, Modern Times Brewing, and Sunriver Brewing all day long: “Join us for a day of imbibing while supporting one of our long time neighbors. We will have special drafts from Modern Times, Melvin and Sunriver and a $1 of every pint sold of these beers will be donated to Movie Madness. Block 15 Brewery (Corvallis) has their November bottle release on Saturday the 4th: “Join us at Block 15 Brewery & Tap Room on Saturday, November 4, for the release of a trio of bottles out of our barrel-maturation programs (Figgy Pudding, Imagine, and Framboise White), as well as 16oz cans of a brand new IPA that we designed and brewed in cooperation with Chicago’s Pipeworks Brewing (Paint it Blanc). The release will begin at 11am, but we will be opening our doors at 8:30am, so you can arrive early and hang with our brewers over complimentary hot coffee, NutCakes donuts, some killer food specials, and our release beers on tap. (We’ll issue you a number when you arrive, so you can mingle before the release without losing your spot in line.)”
Portland’s new Level Beer is holding their grand opening on Saturday. They’ll have a shuttle, with live music, brewery tours, a raffle, special beer releases and more. It’ll be a great opportunity to check out one of the newest breweries around!
