Three Creeks Brewing celebrates 9 years

Three Creeks Brewing 9th anniversary

Back in July 2008—a scant nine years ago though sometimes it feels like much longer—Three Creeks Brewing in Sisters, Oregon opened for business. At the time they opened, Central Oregon only had six breweries (six!) and it would be another two years before the region saw another new one. I wrote a review of the brewpub a couple of months after they opened, and gave them fairly high marks.

(Also note one of the earliest instances of a CDA/Black IPA, called an “India Black Ale,” that I encountered.)

This weekend, starting today (Friday, July 21) they are celebrating their ninth anniversary all weekend long:

Can you believe it has been nine years? It has been an extraordinary ride to date. Thank you to all our TCBC fans who have supported us all these years. You are the reason for our success! There is no better time than to kick-off the festivities than during Oregon Craft Beer Month. Heck…let’s celebrate all month long.
We would like to invite you to join us at the pub for a fun-filled weekend of activities. CHEERS TO 9 YEARS!!!

While you’re visiting, look for their summer beer releases including Vaquero Imperial IPA and Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged Stampede in their Desperado Series, along with Stonefly Session Ale—for all intents and purposes the same Stonefly Rye Ale they launch with nine years ago.

Congrats to Three Creeks on nine years—next year is a big one!
