Three Creeks Brewing 2018 Beer Lineup (first 6 months)

Three Creeks Brewing 2018 beer schedule (first 6 months)

Three Creeks Brewing, based in Sisters, Oregon, released their 2018 schedule for the first six months of 2018. Looking at the calendar, I realize this year marks the brewery’s 10th anniversary (hence the beer series of the same name)! They opened in July of 2008, and have brewed a steady lineup of solid beers, even garnering a number of Great American Beer Festival medals along the way (most recently in 2017 for their Stonefly Session Rye, which returns in April).

Accompanying the release calendar was a press release announcing the latest in their Barrel-Aged Desperado series, and the outline for the other beers in the series for the year:

Three Creeks Brewing Co. is proud to announce the launch of our 2018 Barrel-Aged Desperado Series with the first release, Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged Frontier Justice Coffee Stout.

Brewed with 10 different specialty malts and aged in Rye Whiskey barrels for over a year, then infused with copious amounts of cold pressed Sumatra Coffee. Roasted barley and coffee flavors complement spicy, sweet notes of vanilla from the barrels, creating the perfect beer to start your day, or cap it off.  10% ABV

Originally brewed in fall of 2016 and aged in Bendistillery Rye Whiskey barrels for over a year, only 60 cases of wax dipped 22oz bottles were produced of this luxurious coffee infused barrel aged export stout.  Available now on draft and in 22 oz bottles.

All the unique offerings in the Barrel-Aged Desperado Series use barrels sourced from Oregon wineries and distilleries, and represent the best of Central Oregon’s beer culture.

Following up the Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged Frontier Justice Coffee Stout will be:

  • Bourbon Barrel Aged TenPine Chocolate Porter (Winter)
  • Bourbon Barrel Aged FivePine Porter with Dark Cherries (Spring)
  • Spirit Owl Barrel Aged Saison (Summer)
  • Rye Whiskey Barrel Aged Stampede Strong Ale (Fall)
  • Whiskey Barrel Aged Rudolph’s Imperial Red Ale (Late Fall)

Also good to see Nasty Woman IPA returning in April as well.
