Back on day two of the Beer Bloggers Conference, we were able to see the premiere of “The Love of Beer” a documentary about women in the brewing world. The movie predominantly features Tonya Cornett of Bend Brewing Company along with other women luminaries of the Oregon beer scene (yes you can also spot Deschutes Brewery‘s Veronica Vega in it too). It’s a great movie, but it was uncertain (at the time) when and where it would show again.

Good news—it looks to be coming to Bend in October! On the Facebook page they write:

What are you up to on October 21st and 22nd? Me thinks you’ll be headed to our Bend OR premier at GoodLife Brewing. More information coming soon!

So, mark your calendars for the 21st and 22nd (Friday and Saturday) and make plans to attend. I’m already planning to go. (And GoodLife is a good venue for this; I imagine either their outdoor biergarden or even inside the spacious industrial brewing space is large enough for such a screening.)
