Ever since Worthy Brewing‘s soft opening back at the beginning of February they’ve been super busy; both the restaurant and brewery have been running full steam (in fact, they’re already looking at expanding the kitchen), and the build-out of the hop garden and greenhouse have continued as well (they just recently erected the hop trellises and have topsoil in the planter beds). Today was the official soft (“quiet”) opening for Bend’s new Worthy Brewing, one of the area’s most highly anticipated new Bend brewery openings based in no small part on the sheer size and ambition of the project. “Go Time” in this case refers to “Go Time Xtra Pale Ale,” the very first beer brewed by Bend’s Worthy Brewing which hit the taps at a few select places this past Friday. Today was a big day for Bend’s newest brewery, Worthy Brewing Company: Brewmaster Chad Kennedy and Head Brewer Dustin Kellner officially brewed up their first batch of beer on the new 30bbl system!
