Redhook Double Black Stout (2012)

Over the weekend I popped open the bottle of Redhook Double Black Stout that the brewery sent me to share with our friends Paul and Sandi, and while I didn’t do the full five-point review—I covered that back in 2008—this is still a beer worth writing about. Jamaica Stout

Jamaica Stout is a strong Foreign-Style Stout brewed in Kingston, Jamaica (naturally enough) by Big City Brewing, though you won’t find it on their current site—either it’s too new or it’s brewed for exclusive export to the U.S. (It came in my Beer of the Month package several months back.)
