The Bend Brewfest returns again this year and for the first time adds a fourth day to its schedule. It starts this Thursday, August 13 and runs through Sunday, August 16. Coming soon to Bend: Immersion Brewing

Word of the latest brewery-in-planning to come to Bend, Oregon, has hit the streets in earnest within the past week or so: Immersion Brewing, which will combine a Brew-It-Yourself setup allowing people to come in and brew their own beer in the you-brew model along with a 10-barrel brewing system and kitchen to offer the full brewpub experience as well. 2nd Annual High Gravity Extravaganza at McMenamins Old St. Francis School

This Saturday, January 17, in Bend, Oregon is the second annual High Gravity Extravaganza hosted by McMenamins Old St. Francis School—a mini-brewfest celebration of high gravity (strong) beers, featuring 22 breweries in all—10 McMenamins breweries, and 12 Central Oregon breweries.
