Bend Brewfest: Beers to try

This year’s Bend Brewfest has at least 63 breweries pouring beers (starting tomorrow!), with each brewery (and cidery) bringing at least two beers and ciders, and a number of them also bringing a specialty beer for the X-Tap. The posted beer list looks pretty great this year, and as I’ve done for other brewfests, I’m putting together a list of “must-try” beers for this year’s Bend Brewfest. This will actually consist of two lists: a … Continue reading →

Bend Brewfest 2014 – this week!

Central Oregon’s largest beer festival, the Bend Brewfest, returns this week for three full days: Thursday through Saturday, the 14th through 16th. It’s all taking place at the Les Schwab Amphitheater right in the heart of Bend’s picturesque Old Mill District. The Brewfest runs from 3 to 11pm on both Thursday and Friday, and noon to 11 on Saturday. (Kids … Continue reading →

Bend Brewfest (8th annual)

Starting today marks the 8th annual Bend Brewfest here in Bend, and this year it looks to be the biggest one yet: it’s spread out over three days (Thursday through Saturday) and by my count has 42 breweries represented (technically, 41 breweries and the local Central Oregon Homebrewers who have a collaboration beer with Silver Moon pouring) pouring a total of 96 beers(!). (There is also wine and cider available.) It’s held at the Les … Continue reading →
