Corvallis’ 2 Towns Ciderhouse just released the 2019 vintage of its Serious Scrump, its imperial English cider, and the company sent two bottles to me for review. This is an 11% ABV cider made with “ice juice” — here’s what the cidery says in the press release: In quintessential 2 … Continue reading
Today is my birthday, conveniently situated right before Christmas, and as is my tradition on the Advent beer calendar each year, on this day I select a “birthday” beer for myself rather than a traditional Christmastime one. Or in today’s case, a cider—specifically, a barrel aged apple wine from 2 … Continue reading
Technically not “beer” but still incorporating pumpkin, 2 Towns Ciderhouse crafts a pumpkin cider each year with its Hollow Jack’d. (This is the “Pumpkin Cider Project” post in the series.) 2 Towns recently sent me two bottles of this year’s version which is always a fun one to drink. 2 … Continue reading

The latest limited-release cider from Corvallis’ 2 Towns Ciderhouse arrived yesterday: Camp Clementine. It’s billed as a “summer session cider” and made with California clementines and Maracuyá passionfruit (along with apples, of course). Always fun and interesting things coming out of 2 Towns, I’ll report on this when I try … Continue reading

In addition to the Worthy beers I received this week, I’d also received two different fruited ciders from 2 Towns Ciderhouse and Portland Cider Company: Two Thorns and Pineapple Rosé, respectively. Raspberries and rose petals, and pineapple and blueberries. Definitely some interesting things in the fridge.
