Two beers from Sisters, Oregon-based Three Creeks Brewing arrived today, the first such bottles I’ve received from them:

It’s a nice balance of low-to-high in the alcohol range, with Stonefly Session Ale (originally “Stonefly Rye”) at 4.8% and Stampede Strong Ale at 9.1%. (The Stampede incidentally won a gold medal at this year’s Best of Craft Beer Awards—as you can see by the note written in Sharpie on the Stampede flyer.) Stonefly is one of my “Three Creeks picks” for beers you should try from them if you’ve not had their beer before. I’ll enjoy drinking and reviewing these.
