Received: pFriem Farm to Market IPA

pFriem Family Brewers of Hood River recently collaborated with Portland-based Zupan’s Markets to produce Farm to Market IPA, the latest in an ongoing collaboration with the market chain. Late last week I received a bottle of this beer to sample, which the press release described as: “This Northwest style IPA is inspired by the summer season and packed with notes of papaya, ripe melon, and honey.”

It’s 6.5% alcohol by volume with 45 IBUs, with malts including Rahr pale malt, Thomas Fawcett malted oats, flaked oats, hops including Citra, Denali, El Dorado, Oregon Amarillo — so I’m guessing it’s something of a hazy IPA. Will report as I drink.
