The latest cider to arrive at the house last week: Double Mountain Brewery‘s new Red Fleshed Rosé, a cider made from Red-Fleshed Mountain Rose and Pink Pearl apples that is 5.9% ABV. These varieties of apple are pink inside, rather than white, which gives them an interesting look. The brewery fermented with champagne yeast so I’d expect this to be a fairly wine-like, dry cider.
