Vertigo Brewing (Hillsboro) has a collaboration beer release today: “Today (Monday 11-21) we tap our collaboration beer with 54-40 Brewing Co (A Gene Wilder tribute beer – Stir Crazy IPA) Here are the details on the beer: 6.5% ABV 70 IBUs. A fruit forward IPA that was hop bursted during the boil with El Dorado, Amarillo, and Meridian hops. The resulting beer is fruit forward with hints of apricot, citrus, and berries.”

7 Devils Brewing (Coos Bay) has a beer on tap those on the southern coast might want to look into: “McCullough Mocha is back on tap! Its made with cold brewed coffee from Bridgeview Coffee Roasters, and leftover cocoa nips from Stillwagon Distillery’s mocha rum production. It is delicious!”
Portland’s Coalition Brewing partnered with Zupan’s Markets to brew a limited-edition barrel aged imperial stout, the fourth in Zupan’s private label “Farm-to-Market” lineup. From the press release: “This special edition stout was created by aging our Farm to Market Imperial Coffee Chocolate Stout (released in November 2015) in Bull Run Distilling Co. Temperance whiskey barrels for a year. The result of aging has produced a silky midnight black stout with balanced notes of whiskey and vanilla supported by chocolate and Chilean coffee. This special edition Imperial Stout is available now at all four Zupan’s Markets locations in 750 ml bottles for $19.99 With only 250 bottles produced, it will be on shelves only for a limited time. Perfect to drink now and save a bottle to lay down to continue to age.”
Two Kilts Brewing (Sherwood) has a beer that just went on tap to check out: “Just tapped Cashews Everything Around Me, our new salted caramel cashew cream Ale. Stop in this week for a taste! We will be closed on Thanksgiving but Wednesday we will do $10 growler fills all day!”
Lompoc Brewing (Portland) has some specialties on tap to seek out as well: “Did you miss last week’s Belgian Tripel 3 Way Taster Tray? Then you’re in luck, it’s still pouring at Sidebar! And Lompoc has announced their big Holiday Beer Extravaganza release, for Tuesday, November 29: “Do the holidays make you surly as a polar bear named Mittens? Then preserve holiday cheer at the Lompoc Brewing Holiday BEER Extravaganza on Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 4pm to 11pm at Sidebar (3901 N Williams Ave). This year’s annual holiday release lineup includes seven winter beers.”
So this is a surprise: Fire Mountain Brew House in Carlton is closed, according to this Facebook post: “AS October 1st Fire Mountain Brewery are no longer in business! Thank you to all your support!” That is too bad, but they were pretty under the radar which can definitely be hard to do.
Bend’s Immersion Brewing has a new beer on tap: “Introducing our newest beer MAX’D STOUT, an Oatmeal Stout with a thick brown head which gives way to delicious roasted chocolatey notes. A very drinkable Stout perfect for these colder winter days!”
Baelic Brewing (Portland) has a super, ultra limited bottled beer coming out this week: “WoodWorker Bottle Release: Dinosaur Head!
