Portland’s Belmont Station is hosting a California party today, featuring Phantom Carriage Brewing and Monkish Brewing on tap starting at noon and going til the kegs kick! “Phantom Carriage focuses on alternate fermentations and uses a wide variety of wild yeast and bacteria to deliver innovative, flavor-forward beers that are intended to be both exciting as well as approachable. LA’s Monkish Brewing has just recently started creating a small presence in Portland and we will be tapping three specialty kegs of theirs to enjoy starting at noon when the taproom opens.”

Offering notes of mango, banana, orange and pineapple, Cessation Sour has the flavors and temperament to unite the sour drinkers of America under one beer!”

Deschutes Brewery (Bend): Tuesdays are Community Pints days at Deschutes, where $1 of every pint sold benefits a charitable organization. This month: “We love Tuesday, do you? Join us for Community Pints every Tuesday in the month of November and help support CASA of Central Oregon! We donate $1 of every pint sold to this wonderful local non-profit that helps give our children a voice. Stop by for a tasty beer!”

Ecliptic Brewing (Portland) announced today that they will be releasing their Barrel-Aged Rastaban Oud Bruin this Saturday at the pub— “We will do a limited tapping and there will be bottles available as well.” Here’s the beer description: “The star Rastaban is one of the dragon’s eyes in the constellation Draco. A Belgian-style brown ale, we brewed Rastaban Oud Bruin with raspberries and cherries and then age it in red wine barrels. Dark malty flavors meld with yeast spiciness. The tartness of the fruit is balanced with the oak, resulting in a character similar to a red wine. ABV 7.4%” Be sure to stop by!

The Wild River Brewing in Medford is celebrating its 10th anniversary today! “Tuesday all day Wild River will be serving birthday cake and Ice cream to all of its customers, friends and family. Wild River Medford opened November 8, 2006 at the peak of a historic economic bubble. The next 5 years Southern Oregon watched as the housing bubble burst, jobs were lost and businesses closed, we lived through the worst recession of most of our lives. Through it all Wild River Medford continued to grow, refine and eventually thrive. Wild River Medford today is a pillar that plants its solid foundation in community involvement and charitable giving.” Huge congrats to the Medford location for a decade, and here’s to many more!
