McMenamins Oak Hills Brewpub (Portland) has a limited-edition tasting today starting at 4pm featuring “Smokey Hopinson Bourbon IPA” (intriguing name to say the least!): “For the July release at Oak Hills brewer Stephen Harper will be presenting this special keg of Bourbon IPA — an interesting beer which showcases a wide variety of flavors. Take a sip and enjoy the familiar hop bitterness and flavor accompanied by a smooth yet present bourbon-flavored finish.” It’s 6.61% abv and available at happy hour prices all night until it’s gone.
