My latest article in the Bulletin is out today, and I’m revisiting a Central Oregon staple: Cascade Lakes Brewing’s Blonde Bombshell.

In part it’s a pitch for beer drinkers to forgo the latest and greatest beer craze and a brewery’s standards from time to time. It’s easy to forget that the beers that often pay the bills do so for a reason, when we’re chasing trends. Blonde Bombshell is a great beer to re-calibrate to in this way, plus I dive into the American Blonde Ale style a bit.
