Homebrew Con is in a week!

Homebrew Con 2018

Homebrew Con AppAre you ready? Have you looked at the schedule of speakers and sessions? Want to know where the exhibitors and sponsors and sponsored demos are? What about meetings, book signings and other info like local events? Most importantly, MAPS?!

Do you have the app on your phone or other device so you can personalize your experience? Download the Apple version here  and the Android version here!

Is your hotel far away? Is a local event you want to go to farther than you want to walk? Free TriMet (Bus/Max) passes for attendees, while supplies last (Thanks City of Portland!). Visit the bookstore for passes. Info: here.

Rogue Ales has brewed a Charlie 2018 Strong Ale in commemoration of the 40th annual event! All registered attendees will receive a 22 ounce bottle of this special brew. Read about the specs here. Sounds like it will be delish!

Three Oregon homebrew clubs got together to brew a special beer. “In late 2017, members of the Oregon Brew Crew (OBC) in Portland, Cascade Brewers Society (CBS) in Eugene and Heart of the Valley Homebrewers (HOTV) in Corvallis began discussing ways to create a special beer for Homebrew Con 2018.” Not sure where or when this will be served, but go seek out a special local  homebrew just for this conference!

Make sure you read up on what to expect as a first time attendee: here! I know I will be reading, planning. Make sure you have food and water handy throughout the conference! There will be some light food provided at times, but I love the line “please eat more than a hotel mint.”

If you haven’t registered: Get on it! Register!
