Three Creeks Brewing is turning 5

Three Creeks BrewingThree Creeks Brewing in Sisters has become such a Central Oregon staple that it’s hard to believe they are only turning five this year—but it’s definitely been a good five years for them and they are celebrating this month with a photo contest and anniversary festivities on the weekend of the 19th through the 21st.

Here are the details on their photo contest:

Email or post to Facebook your best “Around The World” TCBC photos. Here locally or on the other side of the world, we want to see your pictures. Sporting a TCBC hat while fishing the waters of Mexico, catching the Euro rail in your TCBC sweatshirt, wearing a TCBC T-shirt while hiking the Pacific Northwest Trail, shredding fresh powder on your TCBC stickered snowboard, pouring out of your TCBC growler at your favorite college football game, mountain biking the Peterson Ridge trail in your TCBC jersey, or just enjoying a cold one here at the pub…

WE WANT TO SEE THEM ALL!!!!

Submit photos by July 20th. Top three winners will be announced on Sunday, July 21st.

1st Place – $100 Gift Card
2nd Place – $50 Gift Card
3rd Place – $25 Gift Card

On Friday, July 19th they are celebrating their birthday with a launch of their 5th Anniversary Imperial IPA and Birthday Cake—no idea what the kind of cake it will be, but I’ve read carrot cake pairs extremely well with Imperial IPAs so I’ll cast my vote for that in case anyone’s reading!

Then on Saturday the 20th they will continue the birthday celebration with an all-day raffle, and of course you’ll be able to enjoy more of that anniversary IIPA. Sunday the 21st is the day they announce the photo contest winners (I don’t know if you have to be present to win).

If you’re interested, here are three of my first posts on Three Creeks from 2008: the day they officially opened (apparently July 21), pointing to a second review later that month, and my own review from September of that year. I really like it then—the beers, food, and atmosphere—and that hasn’t changed; every time we’ve been to Three Creeks everything is really good. And they’ve only gotten better over the years, with cool events the past couple of years like their “IPApril“, vertical tastings, and the launch of their “Outlaw taps” earlier this year.

Big congratulations to Three Creeks for five good years! I’m sure there will be many more. Come on out to Sisters next weekend to help them celebrate!
