McMenamins has been celebrating the Brewpub Bill passage this weekend (fittingly, since brothers Brian and Mike McMenamin were among those instrumental in getting it passed) and today (Sunday, July 12) they are celebrating company wide with beer specials all day long:
Today we celebrate 30 years of Beer! A few pioneer beer makers, but at the time just a group of brewers and a couple winemakers advocated for a bill to create the “public houses” in Oregon. Where would we all be without that?! We celebrate today with $4 pints of every single McMenamins Breweries beer we make at every location and wait, it gets better! $8 growler fills of any beer ($10 high gravity)
They are also holding a special 30th Anniversary of the Brewpub Act Discovery Hunt at five locations (Hillsdale Public House, Greenway Pub, Tavern & Pool, Blue Moon, and Barley Mill) which sounds fun:
Head to the five locations below (with your McMenamins Passport), solve the clue at each spot and snap a photo of yourself with the artwork in question. Once you get your pic, show it to a staff member and you’ll get a stamp. Collect all 5 stamps to get a bottle opener and an entry in a drawing for an overnight stay at the new Anderson School in Bothell, Wash. opening on October 15, 2015! No purchase necessary, you just have to snag those stamps! Valid on 7/12/15 from open ‘til 11 p.m. only. You can collect your prize at any of the 5 locations. One per person. Ages 21 & over. You must be in each photo.
Make sure to get to your local McMenamins and toast the Brewpub Bill today!
