BBC 2016: Travel Woes

As I’m writing this, we’re 34,000 feet in the air and not on the original flight we were supposed to be on. Travel for us has been, let’s say, challenging. We started out with smooth sails on Thursday morning through the Redmond, Oregon airport and as we were about to board the plane, there seemed to be a problem from the previous flight that had just came in. Sun’s Out Saison

We figured he was in town for a spur of the moment beer trip, so I tagged along because another friend was in town and we texted her to meet as well. Turns out, Brian was in town for the peek into the big … Continue reading →

McMenamins Hard Blackberry cider

Jon has been receiving periodic offers for growler samples of select McMenamins beers for awhile now. When the notice came in for a sample of their Blackberry Cider, I immediately told him the growlette was mine. 🙂 Having just bought a fresh pint at the pub a few days prior, I waited a bit before filling the growlette provided to us by McMenamins for such a sample. The color is a very dark purple and tastes pretty … Continue reading →
