Crossing the Rubicon

My visit to Sacramento area stalwart, Rubicon Brewing, was under a dark cloud as we’d attended a memorial earlier in the day. Cruxapalooza – Crux’s 1st anniversary

Deschutes’ party in the park

This past Saturday, Deschutes Brewery celebrated their 25 years of brewing beer with a big party in downtown Bend’s Drake Park. They did a great job too, with a big venue offering up live music all day long, food vendors, kids activities, and of course beer! There was even a “secret” 1/6-barrel keg of Black Butte XXV, this year’s anniversary Imperial Porter that they were pouring tastings from midway through the event.
