A box from Widmer came today, containing these four summer-themed beers plus another imperial pint glass (not shown): The new Rotator Shaddock IPA (brewed with grapefruit peel), Hefeweizen (a classic), Marionberry Hibiscus Gose (which I’m excited about), and this year’s Citra Blonde Summer Brew. Looking forward to drinking and reviewing these as the weather heats up!
Last night we got down to Deschutes Brewery‘s 24th anniversary party at the Bend Pub for a little over an hour, and I snapped a few pictures, visited with some of the Deschutes folks, drank some beer, and ran into some friends. Among the taster tray samples I tried at Flat Tail Brewing when we visited last month, the Bourbon Big Fin Baltic Porter wasn’t one of my initial picks, but the server was kind enough to bring a taster of it when I was deciding on a growler fill and I decided to go with it.
