Yesterday I received a package from Widmer containing the latest in their lineup of their Rotator IPA series: Falconer’s IPA. This is a 7% abv beer made with Falconer’s Flight™ hops, which is a proprietary hop developed to honor the late Glen Hay Falconer, an influential Oregon brewer. Last Wednesday morning, before leaving town, I stopped over at 10 Barrel Brewing‘s groundbreaking ceremony for their new 50-barrel brewhouse in northeast Bend: they have been experiencing phenomenal growth over the past several years and are needing to expand.
