I was glad to see Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale on your list. I still rank it as the best beer I've ever had. I am a little disappointed that no Canadian beers made your list, but the micro-brewery business is still young there. Patience! I'm a Canadian living in England and have always been a fan of dark ales so you can imagine the size of my smile. London Pride, Hobgoblin, Fursty Ferret, Bateman's XXXB, Spitfire, Old Peculiar, I could go on and on... My best beer drinking experience here was sitting by an open fire on a flagstone floor in a 600 year old pub drinking Young's Winter Warmer on a cold December night. The beer was 'as advertised' and the ambience was perfection.

Oops... I did mean the Pipeline. :) I thought that was better than the other beers I have tried from that brewery. Good, smoky, coffee flavor with a hint of chocolate... yumm.

Yeah, I had the Longboard Lager this past summer, I think it was... not bad. Haven't tried their porter yet, though.
